The Project SEARCH Job Coach will provide onsite job specific training, support and supervision to high school students with disabilities, business co-workers, and families by ensuring that individuals' needs are met, goals are implemented, and a safe environment is maintained. The UPMC Project SEARCH Senior Program Specialist will provide job readiness instruction, job coaching and related transition services to students enrolled in Project SEARCH an international employment model, designed to help students with disabilities gain work experience hosted by UPMC. Job responsibilities include assisting with recruitment, providing job readiness curricula, working with hospital personnel to identify appropriate training rotations, providing coaching to students and support to hospital personnel during the training phase of the program. The Specialist will be working as part of a team with service providers, agency staff, hospital staff and school districts to implement Project SEARCH at the host site.
