Special Education Teacher
Denver, CO; Kansas City, MO; or Riverside, CA
I am currently a senior at Colorado Christian University. I will graduate this May with a bachelors of arts in Special Education Ages 5-21. Upon graduation, I will receive my Colorado Special Education Generalist Ages 5-21 Licensure as well as my Colorado Elementary Education K-6 Licensure. Upon receiving those credentials I will then apply for my California and Missouri Special Education Generalist credentials, as I will be moving to either state. I have been involved with the Project SEARCH at the Children's Hospital of Colorado in Aurora during my time in college. I am interested to get more involved with Project SEARCH as I transition into employment beyond college. Project SEARCH is a great program that positively influences the lives of people with disabilities, their families, and the host site. I seek to assist in that mission by working in a Project SEARCH site to assist students through the transition from high school to adulthood and employment. My desired locations include: Children's Mercy Hospital (Kansas City), Missouri, or Riverside Community Hospital (Riverside), California.
